His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, The Regent of Johor and Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) owner visited the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium today, 28 July 2025 to inspect and monitor the upgrading works at the Home of the Southern Tigers ahead of the 2025-26 season, including the new corporate facilities, new pitch and upkeep of the vicinity.
Also present was Chief Minister of Johor YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz Bin Ghazi.

25% TAX RETURNS TO JOHOR
I have just been informed about the delay in the opening of the Pasir Gudang Hospital, which was supposed to open in phases starting August 2025, and I am disappointed that it has been postponed to January 2026.
Following recent shortcomings such as the issue of autogate system disruptions at the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) and the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB), as well as matters related to hospitals, flood mitigation projects and others, I wish to convey to Johoreans how important it is for 25 per cent of the state’s income tax revenue to be returned to Johor.
