His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, The Regent of Johor and Commanding Officer of the Johor Military Forces (JMF) attended a JMF Hari Raya celebration today, 18 April 2025 at Wisma Iskandar, Sultan Ibrahim Camp, Johor Bahru.
Accompanying His Royal Highness were Her Highness Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor and HH Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Panglima of Johor. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE REGENT OF JOHOR’S ADDRESS ON JOHOR’S ACHIEVEMENTS
Johor has recorded RM27.4 Billion worth of investments for the first quarter of 2025. This is mainly due to the Johor Singapore Special Economic Zone and other initiatives to attract more investments.
Just as I had emphasised when being appointed as The Regent of Johor, I will also ensure the education standard in Johor is uplifted. The Johor State Government has allocated RM55 million to improve the education system in Johor.

Good meeting with the Johor Chief Minister and closely following Johor’s development. Managed to check on the progress of my main agenda, which is improving Johor’s educational syllabus, state infrastructures and economy. I’m happy with the progress as I had challenged myself and the state government to accomplish our mission and achieve as much as we can within 5 years.
The goal is to improve the mindset and performance of government officials within state agencies and GLCs. Monitoring quality control closely within the system. The priority is progress.
