TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR THE HOMELESS

In this current pandemic it is crucial to ensure that every segment of society is taken care of, and has access to basic neccesities. On 6th July 2021, I had decreed that temporary shelters be established immediately for the homeless in Johor. The Johor Government has acted swiftly by opening two temporary shelters in Perling and Anjung Singgah which can accomodate a total of 200 people. A third permanent shelter is being built by MBJB at Taman Larkin Perdana and is expected to be ready by July 2022 .
