INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENSURING PREPAREDNESS IN FLOOD MITIGATION EFFORTS AND PROVISION OF AID

According to early weather forecast, Johor is expected to experience floods starting 1 January. I have instructed government agencies and district offices to ensure they are prepared to act quick in flood mitigation efforts and providing help for people in need.I have also instructed the Southern Volunteers to be deployed to help district offices and relevant agencies to ensure nobody is left behind in efforts to assist flood victims.I will continue to monitor the situation in Johor and ensure all help will be provided for the people in Johor affected by it.
