I urge the Johor State Government to prioritise the issue of child abuse and be an example in raising public awareness on this issue. The agencies involved should also implement new policies and procedures to ensure the safety of children. I will visit the Child Interview Centre (CIC) at the Johor Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK), Johor Bahru next week. I will also contribute for the establishement of a CIC at the Muar Police Headquarters (IPD) for PDRM’s use in investigating and solving child abuse cases. Yang Berbahagia Tuan Haji Zainor Bin Haji Adani, the Kulai District Officer has distributed the contributions of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Johor (TMJ) for Phase One of May 2022 to several families in Mukim Bukit Batu and Mukim Senai. Also present in the distribution of the contributions were En Fadil Misnan, the Chairman of Bukit Batu State Assembly Special Coordinating Committee (JPKD); Kulai District Social Welfare Department Officers, Senior Chief, Mukim Chiefs and the associated Village Heads.
