HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE REGENT OF JOHOR AND COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE JOHOR MILITARY FORCES, VISITED THE TANJUNG SEPAT TACTICAL HEADQUARTERS

His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, the Regent of Johor and Commanding Officer of the Johor Military Forces was at the Tanjung Sepang Tactical Headquarters, Johor today, 8 February 2024.
During the visit, HRH the Regent of Johor was presented with a demonstration of the illegal immigrants arrest procedure.
His Royal Highness’ visit came following the success of an integrated operation involving various government agencies in Johor in OP MERPATI 1.
The operation saw 24 coordinators — 13 ground coordinators and 11 at sea — and 1,108 illegal immigrants arrested with items worth RM2.6 million being seized.
Under His Royal Highness’ leadership, close cooperation especially between the Johor Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the Armed Forces through the Seventh Malaysian Infantry Brigade (7 Bgd) resulted in excellent success in preventing the entry of illegal immigrants into the country especially in Johor.
Also present were Johor State Secretary YB Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Hj Azmi Bin Rohani and Seventh Malaysian Infantry Brigade (7 Bgd) Commander Brigadier General Mohamad Suria Mohamad Saad. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
