His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, The Regent of Johor had a meeting with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, 17 December 2024.
Infantino was briefed on the national team project in Malaysia initiated by HRH The Regent of Johor and that it has also received backing from the Malaysian government. Infantino expressed believe in the HRH The Regent of Johor led national initiative and agreed to provide Malaysia support in terms of research, infrastructure and development.
