His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, the Regent of Johor had an audience with His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj, Sultan of Selangor on 1 October 2024.
The Sultan of Selangor and the Regent of Johor shared their thoughts on the unity among the people, professionalism in Malaysia, and the importance of a united Royal Institution to serve as a symbol of the country.
Also discussed were matters relating to football, where both His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin and His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail agreed that there is a need for all parties to ensure that football rivalry stays on the pitch only and for there to be mutual respect and unity off the pitch.
