HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE REGENT OF JOHOR INAUGURATED AND WITNESSED THE CINGAY PARADE 2024 CELEBRATION

His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, the Regent of Johor inaugurated and witnessed the Chingay Parade 2024 celebration at Jalan Wong Ah Fook today, 1 March 2024.

Also accompanying His Royal Highness were HRH Tunku Iskandar Ibni Tunku Ismail, Raja Muda of Johor and HH Tunku Khalsom Aminah Sofiah binti Tunku Ismail.

Also present were Johor Chief Minister YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Johor Health and Unity Committee Chairman YB Tuan Ling Tian Soon and Johor Bahru Tiong Hua Association President Mr. Ho Sow Tong.

HRH the Regent of Johor was welcomed by thousands of visitors who came to enjoy the festival, which is among the key annual events on Johor’s tourism calendar.

The Chingay Parade has been a cultural event of the Chinese community in Johor since 1870, and has become one of the symbols of the Bangsa Johor spirit that celebrates the diversity of religions and cultures in the state. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
