In 1992, roughly 30 years ago, the late Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail brought the Johor football team to Bukit Serene Palace to play football with HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, who was 8 years old at that time, and His Royal Highness’ cousins.
30 years later, HRH Tunku Ismail, now Crown Prince of Johor, did the same with HRH Tunku Iskandar, Raja Muda Johor by having several Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) players and Raja Muda Johor’s cousins play football together at the Flintstones Palace, Mersing in conjunction with HRH Tunku Iskandar’s birthday celebration.
His Royal Highness hopes Raja Muda of Johor will take care of Johor football and continue to bring success in the future.
