NATIONAL DAY WELFARE PROGRAM AND DISTRIBUTION OF CONTRIBUTIONS FROM HRH TUNKU MAHKOTA JOHOR, PHASE 4 AUGUST

YBhg Tuan Haji Mustaffa Kamal bin Dato ‘Haji Shamsudin, District Officer held a welfare visit to Mukim Bakri, Sungai Raya, Pagoh and Lenga and then distributed contributions by His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota of Johor who is concerned for the people of Johor affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also present during the visit were the Assistant District Officer, the Supreme Penghulu, the Mukim Penghulu, and the Village Head.

HRH Tunku Mahkota Johor’s contributions are his initiative to ensure the well-being and welfare of the people of Johor in particular in Muar is always a priority. The one off assistance is to alleviate the burden of this target group identified by community leaders and mukim chiefs consisting of asnaf and weak families, chronic patients, B40 who have no source of income due to retrenchment, disaster victims and other poverty problems.

Apart from that, the District Officer also visited three OKU families and presented RM300 cash assistance from Sahabat Sukarelawan Maharani.
