RECEIVED IN AUDIENCE A WOMEN, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY DELEGATION

HRH Major General Tunku Ismal Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor and HH Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda received in audience a Women, Family and Community Development Ministry delegation led by Minister of Women, Family and Community Development YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri today, 5 January 2023.

The meeting was held to discuss efforts to improve child protection and methods to enhance law enforcement regarding child safety in light of the increasing number of crimes involving children in recent years.

Also present at the meeting were Johor Women, Family and Community Development Committee chairman YB Puan Hajah Khairin-Nisa binti Ismail @ Md On as well as a UNICEF delegation led by child protection specialist Mdm Lee Su-Anne and Johor Women’s League (JEWEL) president Mdm Thanam Visvanathan-Suresh.
