SULTAN OF JOHOR PROUD OF JDT’S ACHIEVEMENT

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Sultan of Johor, expressed congratulations to the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) team for defending their Malaysia Cup championship.
His Majesty also expressed pride in the various achievements attained by the Southern Tigers squad both locally and internationally.
His Majesty Sultan of Johor also conveyed congratulations to JDT for completing a ‘quadruple’ championship for the second consecutive time.
“I also want to express appreciation for the solid support always given by the people of Johor and the staunch supporters of the Southern Tigers squad.
“This success is also for all of you who have always been with JDT,” His Majesty stated to the Royal Press Office (RPO) today (December 9).
Earlier, His Majesty, who was enjoying an afternoon tea at Paul in the capital city, was pleasantly surprised by the arrival of His Royal Highness Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the Crown Prince of Johor.
Accompanying were Her Highness Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda and their royal children.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Johor also presented the Malaysia Cup trophy to His Majesty the Sultan of Johor.
JDT defeated Terengganu FC in the Malaysia Cup final with a score of 3-1, which took place at the Bukit Jalil Stadium yesterday.
