THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION FOR OUR YOUTHS AND TOWARDS IMPROVING THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN JOHOR

Access to education has always been a matter that is close to my heart. Individuals of all ages regardless of status or background should always have easy access to education opportunities in order to develop their skills and knowledge. It is important that the quality of education provided to the people, especially the youth, helps them with the necessary skills to face the challenges of life.

Perhaps it is time to revamp our education syllabus. The Covid-19 pandemic has shown that being tech-savvy and the need for technology-centric education is crucial. Our youth need to possess skills that reflect the needs of the ever-changing dynamic world. We need to close the gap between the quality of our graduates with the demands of the job market.

For the long-term benefit of Johor, we need to explore ideas to ensure that our youths are well-equipped and educated to take on challenges of the future. Besides knowledge, we also need initiatives in character development and educating our youth to be more competitive, confident, and compassionate individuals.

Johor youths deserve to learn from the best to grow and become successful adults. I will continue to give emphasis on the importance of education for our youths and work with the state government to take steps towards in improving the education system in Johor.
