YAYASAN SULTAN IBRAHIM JOHOR CONTRIBUTES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT WORTH MORE THAN RM28 MILLION TO GOVERNMENT HOSPITALS

HM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan of Johor and HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor attended a Medical Equipment Contribution Ceremony by Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor in partnership with Yayasan Temasek Singapura.

HM Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar presented the contribution to Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin today (5 March). Also present were Johor Health Director Dato’ Dr. Aman Rabu and YSIJ Trustee Dato’ Avinderjit Singh.

The Ministry of Health and Johor Department of Health received medical equipment contributions worth more than RM28 million to assist the continuous effort to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. The contribution included various medical equipments for government hospitals to treat patients.

The Ministry of Health received 400 Non-Invasive ventilator (BIPAP) units worth more than RM8 million, while the Johor Department of Health received various medical equipment worth more than RM10 million.

The various medical equipment received by the Johor Department of Health were face protectors, KN95 face masks, ventilators, dialysis machines, mobile swabbing and BIPAP. Other medical equipment were also contributed to the Johor Department of Health. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
