AN ADDRESS BY HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE REGENT OF JOHOR ON JOHOR’S DEVELOPMENT IN 2026

The past year has witnessed tremendous progress in Johor. In the year ahead, the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) is set to attract strong investment interest from China, India, and the Middle East.

I have engaged with the state government on key strategic initiatives aimed at further unlocking Johor’s full potential and ensuring that the benefits of these developments are meaningfully delivered to Johoreans.

2026 will be a pivotal year, marked by significant improvements in state infrastructure, including roads and transportation networks, hospitals, schools, sustainable energy initiatives, as well as the hosting of international sporting events.
