COMPASSIONATE VISIT AND DISTRIBUTION OF AID FROM HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE CROWN PRINCE OF JOHOR FOR APRIL PHASE 5, YEAR 2021 JOHOR BAHRU DISTRICT

Yang Berhormat Dato ‘Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Salleh, Johor Bahru District Officer presented the DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor’s Gift and Ziarah Kasih to three underprivileged families.

He presented gifts from HRH Crown Prince of Johor Johor for the month of April Phase 5 of 2021.

Also accompanying him was Amin Baitulmal of Johor Bahru District, representatives from the Johor Bahru District Social Welfare Department, Johor Bahru City Foundation, Penghulu Tinggi, Penghulu Mukim and Village Head.

1. The first recipient is a senior citizen with chronic diabetes that causes blurred vision. She was lying in bed and using disposable diapers. All personal affairs are taken care of by his son who works as a mechanic. His son also bears a wife and 4 children. They live in Kampung Mulia, Mukim Sungai Tiram.

2. The second recipient is a senior citizen who has become ill and has been diagnosed with liver cancer. His stomach was swollen due to the disease and he needed hospital treatment twice a week at a cost of RM150.00 per treatment. All personal affairs are taken care of by her daughter who lives with her daughter -in -law working in the village and 3 young grandchildren. He received assistance from the Islamic Religious Council of RM300.00

3. The third nominee is a single mother (divorced from her husband because her husband is a drug addict and serving a prison sentence). He has 7 children aged 7 to 17 who live alone in a rented house and expects his eldest son who is not in school to manage 2 high school siblings, one primary school sibling and 3 young siblings during the absence of his mother who works as a factory operator in Tebrau. He stayed at his brother’s house in BBU during the working day. She would return to her rented house every weekend, which is Sunday, to see her children. He rented the house for RM400.00 a month.
