DYAM TUNKU MAHKOTA JOHOR PHASE 2 GIFT PRESENTATION IN SEPTEMBER

YBhg. Tuan Haji Mustaffa Kamal bin Dato ‘Haji Shamsudin, District Officer paid a visit to Mukim Lenga and then met with some small hawkers of land fishermen at Lenga Jetty to hand over the gifts from HRH Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota of Johor who is concerned about the people of Johor who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

These small hawkers and inland fishermen are among those affected by the implementation of PKP and hopefully with the grace of HRH TMJ, they will be given a boost to get back up on their feet and start businesses and economic activities in Kg Lenga.

The Lenga Fishermen’s Jetty Square has been upgraded in phases under the Tg Emas-Moakil Tourism Cluster Program to increase the potential attractiveness of socio-economic development in the Muar river.

Also present during the visit of the Assistant District Officer, the Supreme Chief, the Mukim Chief, and the Village Head.

The contributions by HRH Tunku Mahkota Johor is the approval of the continuous initiative of His Majesty the Tunku Mahkota of Johor to ensure the well-being and welfare of the people of Johor in particular in Muar is always a priority. One off assistance is to alleviate the burden of this target group identified by community leaders and mukim chiefs consisting of asnaf and dhaif families, chronic patients, B40 who have no source of income due to retrenchment, disaster victims and other needs to alleviate the burden.
