VACCINATION RATE AND VACCINE SUPPLY IN JOHOR

I had a meeting with Coordinating Minister of the National Covid-19 Immunisation programme (PICK) and Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation YB Khairy Jamaluddin, Menteri Besar of Johor YAB Dato’ Haji Hasni bin Mohammad, Johor Tourism, Youth and Sports EXCO YB Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi and Johor State Secretary YB Dato’ Haji Azmi bin Rohani today (8 August 2021) at the Royal Johor Polo Club regarding the vaccination rate and vaccine supply in Johor.

As a result of discussions, Johor will receive 2 million doses of vaccine in August 2021. These vaccine doses will arrive:

Week Aug 1 – 324,940 doses

Week Aug 9 – 564,234 doses

Week Aug 16 – 340,150 doses

Week Aug 23 – 796,344 doses

I also decreed for the state government to open a special drive-thru PPV at Arena Larkin Johor Bahru to facilitate those with disabilities (OKU) get their vaccine doses.
