I would like to offer my sincere view and advice to all politicians in Johor or anywhere else. You should focus your priorities on the health crisis and the economic crisis that are currently at alarming levels. This is not the time for politicking.
All of you have been selected by the people to serve the people and country. Please focus on carrying out your mandated responsibilities and do your best to overcome this pandemic.
Put aside all political differences, have a political ceasefire for the time being and focus entirely on the Rakyat. Now is the time to serve and help the...

I had discussions with the YAB Menteri Besar and Johor Goverment on ensuring initiatives such as these are successful in helping Johoreans expand their skill set and gain new knowledge.
We have to help the Rakyat that have lost their jobs to find new income sources and give basic training in different sectors that are still active as well as increasing their future job capabilities.

According to a recent report, there are more than 500 homeless people living in Johor Bahru. I have decreed for the construction of the homeless transit centre in Johor Bahru to be expedited so that the homeless can have a more comfortable place to live and assistance in terms of food and health can be provided to them.
During this Covid-19 pandemic, homeless people are among the most vulnerable to the Covid-19 virus infection because they are forced to live by the roadside or in public areas.
I have also decreed for a temporary shelter to be established immediately. With this...
