THE DISTRIBUTION OF BASIC NECESSITIES TO THE FLOOD VICTIMS

The distribution of food boxes to four districts, namely Segamat, Tangkak, Muar and Batu Pahat have been completed. We will also be providing more basic necessities to all Flood Relief Centres (PPS) tomorrow morning. LATEST REPORT ON THE FLOOD SITUATION IN MUAR AND SEGAMAT

The river water level in Muar is currently decreasing and all previously inaccessible roads can now be used by all types of vehicle. In Segamat, the number of Flood Relief Centres (PPS) in operation is now at 18 and only 299 families are still affected. The weather in Muar is good today. 9 more Flood Relief Centres (PPS) are still operating while waiting for the river water level to drop to a safe level. If the condition improves, all victims will be allowed to return to their respective homes.
