This surau was originally built in 1965 on a land area of 100’ x 100′ which had been donated for the purpose of building a Surau. The surau can accommodate about 200 worshippers at a time, located far from Johor Bahru city center and is in the process of repairing leaking roofs as well as damaged ceiling and the construction of new meeting rooms. 1. The first recipient, who lives in Taman Scientex, Plentong, Pasir Gudang is a patient of ‘Saucerization Of Nape Of Neck Carbuncle’ which is swelling in the back of the head and neck. The patient travel back and forth to the hospital since 2017 and have undergone several surgeries. He and his unemployed wife and father-in-law live in a rented house at a rate of RM850 monthly and depend on the assistance of the Social Welfare Department while the Johor Islamic Religious Council and Yayasan Penyayang Pasir Gudang are in the process of providing assistance. 2.
