The Bangsa Johor Vaccination Registration Programme by the Johor district offices in corporation with Southern Volunteers has recorded a total of 440,569 registrations in 30 days to increase the registration ratio to almost 90% of the adult population in Johor.
Besides helping the vaccine registration for residents in rural areas, welfare aid and food have also been distributed to Bangsa Johor in all districts.

Congratulations and thank you to Johoreans and all parties involved in the Covid-19 vaccine registration effort that has now hit the 86.5% mark including district offices, state government agencies and Southern Volunteers that have been mobilised in the past one month.
A total of 2,346,163 Johoreans have already registered for the vaccine as of Sunday, 18 July 2021. I urge those who have yet to register to sign up as soon as possible to ensure the well-being of society with herd immunity and also start recovery of the Johor economy.

TOKYO 2020 OLYMPICS
I would like to wish all the best to all national athletes competing at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games from July 23 to August 8. 30 national athletes will compete in 27 events of 10 different sports.
I am confident that our athletes will be able to compete with athletes of other countries on the world stage to achieve excellence. I would also like to congratulate Minister of Youth and Sports YB Dato’ Sri Reezal Merican bin Naina Merican for his efforts in ensuring the national contingent were able to go for the Tokyo Olympics despite facing challenges of the ongoing Covid-19.

VISIT TO VACCINE STORAGE CENTRE, PERMAI HOSPITAL, JOHOR BAHRU
visited the Vaccine Storage Center at Permai Hospital, Johor Bahru today (Wednesday, 14 July 2021) to inspect the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines to vaccination centers (PPV) in Johor. During the visit, I also had a meeting with Health and Environment EXCO YB Vidyananthan A/L Ramanadhan, Tourism, Youth and Sports EXCO YB Dato’ Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi and Johor Deputy State Secretary YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Noh bin Ibrahim.

INITIATIVES TO HELP JOHOREANS FIND INCOME
I had discussions with the YAB Menteri Besar and Johor Goverment on ensuring initiatives such as these are successful in helping Johoreans expand their skill set and gain new knowledge.
We have to help the Rakyat that have lost their jobs to find new income sources and give basic training in different sectors that are still active as well as increasing their future job capabilities.
