Today, I received 100,000 self-test Covid-19 antigen kits. These test kits will be distributed all around Johor to increase the testing capacity so that a more effective detection of the Covid-19 infection could be carried out to identify positive cases.These self-test kits will help efforts to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and identify hotspots. I completely understand the grouses of Johoreans that the vaccination rate in the state has been slow. RELIEF FOR THUNDERSTORM VICTIMS IN TANJUNG SEDILI

I am aware of the storm that happened yesterday at Tanjung Sedili. It’s sad to hear how bad the damage was in the area, where a total of 291 households were affected by this natural disaster. I have made a personal contribution for immediate distribution to all 291 families affected by this storm. DISTRIBUTION OF SACRIFICIAL MEAT TO THE POOR AND UNDERPRIVILEGED IN CONJUNCTION WITH HARI RAYA AIDILADHA 1442H

The distribution of sacrificial meat in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha 1442 Hijrah celebration from HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor to the less fortunate, underprivileged and poor was carried out through Johor district offices. The distribution was done by the district officers, mukim chiefs and village heads respectively.

SOUTHERN VOLUNTEERS AND DISTRICT OFFICES WORK TOGETHER TO HELP BANGSA JOHOR

A Southern Volunteers programme with Johor district offices on 19-21 July 2021 helped facilitate the Covid-19 vaccination registration effort and distribute welfare and food aid to Bangsa Johor.
